It is already 2025, however some places, specially in countries such as Japan, still live in Stone Age. I passed by an embarrassing situation in this hotel, they had 0 knowledge about handicap support, even if in some places in Hiroshima such as train and shiyakusho they knew about the card hanging from my neck called “health mark”. That day I walked around 13km solving things before moving out to other city, and was wet because it rained. I was the first to come, but due to the errands I left and came back hours later. When I came back there was this big line of people. Not once they called me, not even after everyone was gone. A client even asked me in the sofa “are your fine? Do you have any problem?” and I said about the lack of priority support for people with handicap. They never properly apologized either when I complained, and what is worse: When I gave an honest review in agoda the review was “shadow blocked”, a very sad practice common nowadays where negative reviews are not shown to the public but show only to the user who wrote it (logged in a site account), not being honest about the true public opinion about something, prioritizing reviews which pleases their real customers (the business advertising there, not you). I left agoda next.
