An asian online hotel booking service which seems to have ties with booking.com. What led me to leave was after I had an unfortunate experience with an hotel in Hiroshima (details in other post), when I made a honest review, it was “shadow blocked”, meaning the public could not see, only the user who posted could (if logged in the account). This practice deceive the visitors to the site into thinking negative reviews are allowed when only the ones praising a hotel are, making the viewer think which the reviews truly reflect a hotel opinion with the public when they do not. Sadly it is a common practice nowadays. If you search it has pretty bad reviews about the agoda service itself, and its selling style is agressive and ridiculous (after clicking a button you have only X minutes to finish the purchase? What?).
