It was one of the most expensive tickets in the city, and yet it was only open until 18:00, then the staff will in a way “kick you out”. Honestly, you can get a much better city view at other places in Hiroshima which are cheaper of even free. As for the “oridzuru activity”, even if you have your own paper, you can only use their “special paper”, which as you can guess, is paid. You then toss it into a hole and that is it. yes, only that. If you think it was magical, it is because you do not yet have other touristic references about Hiroshima. Other thing I learned in life, is which when a not so good business try to hide behind the fact which “we are donating part of the money for charity”, then all the “donating” thing is not honest, it is just a marketing tool, and in the atomic bomb case, this is actually offensive. However, such is the real Japan, not really good things are sometimes officially advertised as good.
